1943 - Gibble & Ebling, a power equipment dealer, was opened by David Ebling and his father-in-law Abraham Gibble along side a feed mill they operated (also named Gibble & Ebling) in Bethel, PA.
1945 - Gibble & Ebling started selling the Roebling Rotary Power Mower, their first power equipment franchise. Originally called Kuts-Al & Trims, the Roebling Rotary Power Mower was designed by Adam Fahnestock from Lititz, PA in 1940. Fahnestock later leased the patent rights to the John A. Roebling Company of New Jersey, whose strong wire rope was used to build iconic structures like the Brooklyn and Golden Gate Bridges. Prior to this, Gibble & Ebling sold Fahnestock’s original Kuts-Al & Trims mower, with the first one being sold to the Strausstown cemetery.
1979 - David's grandson, Jason Reed, bought the business after working for him for many years.
1983 - The business was moved to Myerstown.
2003 - Merged with a nearby competitor, Service Plus, and the name was changed to Ebling's
2006 -The business was sold to three long-time employees of Ebling's: Konrad Musser, Tony Hollinger, and Anthony Martin.
2009 - Moved up the road to the current location, at 730 East Lincoln Ave, Myerstown PA 17067.
